O Capitão Costeau partia em expedição a bordo do 'Calypso', para explorar as profundezas dos oceanos e nos mostrar a sua beleza.  A Caravane Amoureuse parte em expedição a bordo de vários autocarros para explorar as profundezas da natureza humana, honrando, através de um filme documentário, as mulheres e os homens que trabalham para que o nosso mundo caminhe no sentido de mais paz, mais solidariedade e maior consciência ambiental. Associações, empresas e políticos apoiam o nosso projecto. Juntos, escolhemos dar prioridade ao Coração do Homem, património da humanidade.

The Heart of Mankind – our human heritage 

Captain Costeau set out an expedition aboard ‘Calypso’, to explore the oceans and show us their beauty. The Caravane Amoureuse sets sail on buses to explore the depths of individual human experience and to honour, in a film documentary, the women and men who are committed to our world moving towards more peace, solidarity and environmental awareness. Associations, businesses, politicians, regional presidents and their deputies and councils, are among those who support our project. Together, we want to promote The Heart Mankind, our human heritage.

KRISHNA - THE DIVINE LOVER

Tarikavalli & Paulo Sousa 
Tarikavalli, bailarina clássica de Bharata Natyam, e Paulo Sousa, Sitarista, ambos de origem portuguesa, uniram os seus talentos para prestar tributo à vida e obra de Pandit Ravi Shankar, concebendo um trabalho inédito que integra estilos do sul e do norte da Índia, habitualmente considerados distintos e infudíveis, com interpretações vocais em português e a introdução de sonoridades electrónicas, numa simbiótica e arrojada criação. O legado de Ravi Shankar, um dos maiores embaixadores da cultura indiana, inspira Tarikavalli e Paulo Sousa que, em sua honra, remetem neste espectáculo para a figura do  Deus Krishnak, uma das incontornáveis divindades do Panteão Hindu.

Ora criança, ora jovem, Krishna seduz-nos o coração e leva-nos com ele, através dos seus jogos, pelas encantadoras paisagens de Vrindavan. Deixemos que a dança, a música e a poesia nos descrevam, em uníssono, a sua divina beleza...

Tarikavalli, a classical Bharata Natyam dancer, and Paulo Sousa, a Sitar player, both of Portuguese origin, have joined their talents in order to pay tribute to the life and work of Pandit Ravi Shankar.  They have conceived a new unpublished and original work which integrates both southern and northern Hindu styles, usually regarded as quite distinct, as well as vocal interpretations in Portuguese and the introduction of electronic music elements, in a bold and symbiotic production. The legacy of Pandit Ravi Shankar, one of the greatest ambassadors of Hindu culture, has inspired Tarikavalli and Paulo Sousa, who in his honour refer in this show to the figure of the God Krishna, one of the countless deities of the Hindu Pantheon.

Sometimes an innocent child, sometimes a naughty boy, Krishna seduces our hearts and takes us with him, through his games, along the enchanting landscapes sights of Vrindavan. Let us allow  dance, music and poetry to describe,  all together, his divine beauty…

In a circle, a thousand places cross the memory in a single cry. The same bitter breath sculpts what comes in space.  It is an approach of invisible bodies. The man who dances, that who awakens the shade, learns to ride silence in a  wandering measured by the demanding pace of a free naked body ...

Trio ALCATIFA 
Dr. Alban, Dr. Bombazine e Dr. Rashid viajam confortavelmente a bordo de uma versão moderna dos lendários tapetes voadores. Levantaram voo no deserto e deixaram-se inebriar pela música nas ruas do leste, de onde estava difícil voltarem a descolar. Como têm o dom de controlar o vento, conseguiram prosseguir, trazendo um rasto quente de areia misturado com a brisa fresca dos sopros. Fazem lembrar os encantadores de serpentes porque convidam o corpo ao movimento ondulante.
Ritmos e melodias orientais com pinceladas de bailarico. Impossível não levantar voo, impossível não deslizar.

Dr. Alban, Dr. Bombazine and Dr. Rashid travel comfortably aboard a modern version of the legendary flying carpets. They took flight in the desert and let themselves intoxicate by the music of eastern streets, from where they had a hard time taking off. Since they have the gift of controlling the winds, they managed to go on, leaving a trail of warm sand mixed with the cool breeze blows wherever they passed by. They remind us the snake charmers because they invite the body to do waving movements.

Eastern melodies and rhythms with touches of folk bal. It is impossible not to take off flying, it is impossible not to go astray...

Água é um excerto de um trabalho criativo em curso...

Esta criação insere-se num universo minimal profundo, e está dividida em três partes: a morte, a passagem e a vida de uma bailarina de flamenco, através de uma linguagem contemporânea... A narrativa desenrola-se no sentido inverso: o espectáculo começa com a dançarina envolvida no manto frágil e profundo da sua própria morte, sendo então liricamente desafiada a enfrentar os dois mundos, de silêncios e instintos, terminando num romance num instante de vida ...

This creation lies deep minimal Within the universe, and is divided in three stages: the death, the passage and the life of a ballerina Flamenco, through a contemporary language ... The narrative unfolds in reverse, the show begins with the dancer Involved in the deep mantle and frail of her own death, and then she is lyrically challenged to face the two worlds, of silences and instincts, ending on a novel of life in an instant ...

TAUPADAK I 2ª parte Taupadak significa latidos em euskera (língua basca). Iremos imergi-nos nas  pulsações que formam parte da vida: os latidos do coração, do útero, a respiração.... Taupadak desenvolve-se com música em directo, taças tibetanas, gong, carrilhões e canto harmónico.

 "Taupadak" means beats in Euskera (the Basque language). We dive into the pulsations that are part of life: heartbeat, uterus pulsations, breathing ...Taupadak is developed with live music, Tibetan singing bowls, the gong, chimes and harmonious singing.

Todos os anos, os caçadores do clã enfrentam as feras durante uma guerra ritual. Nesse ano, Diotime é a primeira mulher da história a particpar no combate. Ela está pronta. Domesticou a sua égua. Começa então para a jovem e intrépida Diotime uma nova vida. Após a violência e a selvajaria, encontra o amor. Mas resta-lhe ainda um longo caminho por percorrer e muita paciência antes de se tornar mulher...

Diotime is 14 years old. She is the daughter of the great Kyros and the granddaughter of the powerful Cambyse, leader of a Persian tribe whose oldest ancestors where lions. Every year the hunters of the clan face the beasts during a ritual war. This year Diotime will be the first woman in their history to participate in the combat. She is ready. She has trained her mare. A new life then begins for the young and intrepid Diotime. After violence and savagery, she finds love. However, she still has a long way to go and needs a lot of patience before becoming a woman...

As nossas crianças embarcam numa viagem ao encontro da arte indiana e da Rota da Seda, símbolo do «sonho do Oriente» e da descoberta romântica pelo Ocidente destes países longínquos. Seguimos as pegadas de Vinayaka, o Elefante que, por sua vez, segue as de Alexandre o Grande e de Marco Pólo. Juntos descobrimos a alma dessas terras mágicas, através das suas músicas e danças, num espectáculo infantil cheio de surpresas.

Children embark on a journey to meet Indian art and the Silk Road, a symbol of the "Dream of the Orient" and the romantic discovery by the West of these distant countries. We follow the footsteps of Vinayaka, the elephant who, in turn, follows those of Alexander the Great and Marco Polo. Together we discover the soul of these magical lands, through their songs and dances. A children's show full of surprises.

After an introductory workshop about the 5 elements, we will 'occupy' several streets and squares of Serpa, in order to invoke the 5 energies with our dance, movement and contemplation, helped by the natural or 'industrial' sounds around us.

Who is she? We ignore it. Where is she from? Nobody knows. Why is she here? It is a mystery. She is an old woman who watches everything, knows everything and gets involved in everything. She will leave just as she came.
